Embracing new experiences and learning from them is what got me to where I am today, never backing down from a challenge, learning from it and having fun along the way.

I truly enjoy what I do and look forward to the challenges and relationships I have experienced here at Capital Pacific.

In this ever changing market, you need a broker that is willing to think outside the box and take on new challenges. Capital Pacific fosters an atmosphere in which being fully engaged and in-tune with all market changes helps us achieve results for our clients.

Relationships matter. I treat every professional relationship as I do my personal ones. I have built some of the best lifetime friendships that started out with a simple business call.

How did you get into the real estate industry?

In 1997, I had recently graduated college and was living with my girlfriend (now wife) Rebecca in the Pearl district before it was the "Pearl.” A good friend from California came to visit who was a broker for a large firm in LA. Since he was on his phone the whole time, I got a crash course in brokerage and was intrigued. I loved hearing his questions and problem solving. With my degree in sociology, I thought brokerage could be a great fit. So I bought a terrible suit, interviewed with a national firm, and was hired on the spot (subject to getting a real estate license). Three years in the business, I kept seeing Capital Pacific quietly list and sell a number of great properties. Clients started to say my approach matched theirs. I had one meeting with Michael Horwitz and connected with Capital Pacific’s process and approach. I was hooked and I have been here since 2003.

What do you love about Capital Pacific?

I’ve been at Capital Pacific for fourteen years and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. We live everything that we say on our website. Our track record speaks for itself. Our events are productive; they are a good way to get with clients and hear different perspectives on the market. My team’s expertise helps me foster relationships and build depth with my clients. Our process for knowing the market and our comprehensive research gives us an edge. At Capital Pacific, I have the freedom to do what I want and the support to achieve at a high level.

What do you do for fun?

Fun for me is spending as much time as possible with the three girls in my life - my two daughters and wife. I love travelling and spending as much time as I can in the ocean.
