I was born and raised in the Bay Area and recently graduated with my Bachelors of Science from San Francisco State University.
After having numerous jobs throughout college, I realized I needed to expand my horizons into something that would challenge me in a different way. When I took the opportunity to join Capital Pacific, it was a completely different setting from what I was used to, but I am glad I decided to take the risk. I have learned quite a bit since starting and enjoy being faced with new challenges every day.
What do you love about the culture at Capital Pacific?
I grew up participating in multiple team sports, so I have always enjoyed working with others. At Capital Pacific, everyone works hard as a team to ensure everything flows smoothly. There doesn’t feel like a hierarchy, but that everyone is a key piece to the puzzle. Whenever I feel lost or need assistance, instead of being talked down to, I am provided with reassurance and the resources to succeed.
How did your early life shape your outlook?
Growing up, I had a very active childhood. I was involved with numerous activities in school and sports, which kept me on a tight schedule. I had to learn how to prioritize my time, which encouraged staying organized. Being the oldest child, I was instilled with the idea of hard work at a young age, which led to my determination for success. Whether it is learning something new or working with something familiar, I always put my best self out there and I don’t hold back. Rather than looking back at past experiences, I prefer to live in the moment and learn from them.
What do you do to recharge your batteries outside of the office?
Outside of the office, I enjoy staying active. You can typically find me going on hikes or preparing for a race. Other days, I like to spend time trying out different restaurants around the city and relaxing at the beach.
