Born in SoCal and raised in the Bay Area, I studied Business Marketing at San Francisco State University. I discovered my passion for marketing after taking a few courses. It is an excellent way to incorporate creativity into the business world, and I find myself excited whenever I see marketers being creative and clever with the way they promote their products and businesses.
What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned?
I think the most important lesson I’ve learned so far in life is that the environment you surround yourself with is really important. I didn’t know how important it was for me to be in a positive and open environment, but that’s something that makes a huge difference in my day-to-day. I strive to keep good energy around, and Capital Pacific has provided me with that positive space that allows me to strive and grow.
What do you do to recharge your batteries outside of the office?
I enjoy going to concerts in my free time. The energy of the crowd and the artists is always fun and powerful experience. During warmer weather, I love going to Lake Merritt in Oakland to have a picnic and play cornhole. When I get a chance, I like to travel whenever possible. I didn’t get to go out of the country until 2016 and ever since then I was in awe with the possibilities of learning about different cultures.
